Why I love reading

Hello there ! I’m going to tell you a bit of my writing about what I love  about reading. So kick back and relax and read...

Reading, reading is my thing but not actually my thing but it is my favourite task that I like to do through my learning. Why do you like reading you may ask well I like reading because I love adventures and action to read, If I saw a movie that had a lot of action I will be desperate to get the book of that movie thats why I love READING! My second thing that I love reading is that it builds up my knowledge of reading so I can read and post.

You know people think that reading task are hard for them but believe me it is! I think it’s hard because I chose it to be. I chose it to be difficult because I love achieving them. Achieving them is such like me because it feels fantastic. But when you were young how did you feel when you achieve your reading task?

Now, this shows how much I really love reading. This picture is my reward that means I’ve got 100% on my work. So stay tuned because this piece is actually not finnish and next time I will post the rest.

Why is this my Favourite place?

This is my Favourite place because beaches is just my thing. I like beaches because: there is a lot of space to play games, we can go swimming and my favourite thing to do is relaxing! Relaxing is y thing because every day after school I don’t get that much sleep.

What I do at my favourite place is that sometimes my brother and I play tag and I am a pretty good runner and hider for my older brother. After I play tag with my brother I actually have a rest and really big amount of drink cause I run a lot... Later during the day at the beach my day will always sneak up to me with a bucket full of water and SPLASH!!! soaking wet “oh no not again” I said!

What I like about my favourite place is that I love family celebration going on at the beach. The other is, actually that only it...

Next time I’m going to the beach the first thing I’m going to do is wait for my dad go to sleep and water bomb him. The second is just kick back and enjoy the day.

True Best Friends

Who are these mysterious girls in the picture above?

I would like to tell you a bit about  myself and my friends.  My friends are cool to me and they are always kind, but sometimes I could be a pain in their heads but

they don’t care, and when someone tries to hurt me they always stick up for
me and that’s what you call TRUE FRIENDS.

True friends are treasures to me and I like having friends right beside me, when

I am lonely they always stay with me and we will play games like up and down tiggy, man hunt, rugby, kicking, throws, touch and other cool games.

My friends and I like being TRUE FRIENDS and true mates.True friends are good to play with. True mates are loving and trusting.

Talking about sign language!

Do you know what this is? Well let me tell you what this picture is! This is a chart that tells you how to do these letters in sign language. The start of last week ,30th of April to 6 of May was actually sign language week. Did you know it was sign language week? Well let’s get back to the story. Sign language week was to represent the kids and adults that has to use sign language to speak, thats why all the schools in aotearoa has to sing and do sign language at the same time the National anthem.

All about me!

Kia ora my name is Tui and welcome to my blog. I am 11 years old and I'm a year 7. My Classroom is room 18. My teacher is Mr. Barks he is a nice person and he is very tall. My best friends are Hosannah, Jasmine, Ramona and also Dante. They are also the friends I had since I started. My favourite music is Move Your Body from Beyonce and I also love Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You. So if you have a look at my blog I hope you enjoy my writing.

What I think of art!

Do you know what is art? Well let me tell you what I think art is! Art can be: Painting,Sculptures and also pictures. I promise you that I can at lease name 2 artist’s styles. Pablo picasso, his style is looking at different perspectives. Oscar Claude Monet, His style is tiny strokes to make his painting realistic. I know these amazing painters because at school we have different rotations about different painters. Now this week I wonder who we are learning about today?

Art, art maybe not be my most favourite thing to do but at least I tried. My hardest painting was Daniella Hulme her painting was difficult to paint but it was worth with a try. My second hardest painter was also Henri Matisse.

 

Ah (In a relaxing way) what a normal day I’ve had. Later this week I will write another article about art again.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

Our fun times at Tamaki College

“YAY” is how this story started as we all of us was so excited to go to Tamaki College. Why are we going you say in your head, well we are going to Tamaki College because they are going to teach us new games and things that are we haven't tried yet.

When we arrived at their gym we had group leaders our team was mixed boys and girls. When we got our team leaders they introduced themselves the first person was named Katie the second one was eister and our last which was a boy Villi. When I thought in my head the way into the gym I thought our team leaders were girls but it turned out to be a boy too.

“Ok then stand up and lets go team” Katie shouted in a nice voice. Walking in line like we were playing follow the leader. On the field me and Jasmine was saying “what are we playing” to the captains. We are playing EVERY ONE IS IT. These are the rules that we must follow. 1. we must not lie 2.If someone tags you before you tag them you have to sit down 3.If the person that tags you got tag you can stand up until the last person is standing. When Eister said “GO” the boys decided to go for the girls so guess what? The girls started running away from the boys. Tag Samson said as I sat down which means all he needed is to tag “TAG” as it was too late for Samson to tag Eleva. What I like about the game that everyone started to enjoy our game.

A discussion started was in the last round of our game so quickly they said “STOP”. As we walked in the little room where they study P.E They say that we are going to play trust falls. What is trust falls? Well trust falls is when everyone in a group has one person that falls back and the catchers has to catch them. So through the game Eleva went first she was light then up next came Makalita who is also light. Then nobody volunteered to go next so I jumped up and said Catchers ready” and they said “Fallers Ready” and then the boy counted 3 2 1 then I fell. When I fell thought that I was going to drop on the floor but they catched me. As we got bored we were like moaning to play against somebody else's team so we went to other year 8/7 girls team.

NOW IT IS TIME FOR OUR CHALLENGE!!! As we saw the other team Jasmine and I saw our friend Ramona “NO” really long I said. When we were getting warmed up for the race the other team's captain SAID ARE READY we got up SET we got our stuff to together GO! she shouted.
Quickly we were saying to the person at the back with the tyre. OH NO (The bag wobbled and wobbled) and we all said “RICHARD” as his foot came off.

Starting over as quick like a lion. Halfway there and the other team near the finish line. “Woohoo” a strange crowd shouted in a proud way as all of us looked and said in a sad way ooohhh.

In the hall sad but it was just a game I thought but the other team said it’s ok. As we walked back to school we all said the we might write about what happened that day as I said Hmm ok so that’s why I have written this blog post for what we do on every fridays.
