Duffy Theartre

At our beautiful looking hall not long ago, there was a crew called “The Duffy Theatre” that came to perform in front of us. They were so talented and we all CRACKED UP laughing!!! There were also lots of scenes. My favourite scene is when it was Emmy’s Birthday. She was so funny and big. It was great meeting “Duffy.” My favourite actor was “Scruffy.” He is Duffy’s little brother. I liked looking at the best book in the World. These were the other actors in the plays, “Marvel, Rocky, Wiri and SBW. Theatre

All my life, I have never read a lot. But When I saw that all Duffy wanted to do was reading, they gave me a good experienced kind of way tempted to read a lot. Now why don't you start reading?

My week 3, 7 vocabulary words!

1.Acknowledged-to admit to be real or true; recognize the existence, truth,or fact of: to acknowledge one's mistakes.

2.Upload-Upload means when you bought something off Internet.

3.Images- Images mean pictures or photo’s which is the same.

4.examples- It’s when a person doesn't understand and you have to make it easier for them.

5.bookmarks- It’s like making a mark on a book but you do it on your laptop.

6.success- When you have achieved something like you won a spelling bee you had success a mission.

7.Footprints- When you walk or go on Internet and leave the place or web page you leave a footprint.

My first interesting 7 vocabulary words

1.Comments - Comments means like when you go on someones blog and like a slide show impresses you, you can write something nice about there work.

2.Responsibility- Responsibility means when you get a pet you have to look after it like feeding it or by cleaning its mess.

3.positive- It when you think good thoughts instead of bad and if you think of good things about someone.
4.Searching- when you can’t find something in a book instead of searching it on internet.

5.Critical-Marked by a tendency to find and call attention to errors and flaws

6.Imaginary- Its when you think in your head a picture appears that you always wanted to see like a rabbit.

7.Ownership- When you have something that belongs to you.

Week 2 Term 1 2012

Talofa my name is Tui and I am 11 years old. This year I'm a year 7 student which is intermediate. My teacher for this year is Mr.Barks and he is the teacher of Room 18. My school is called Point England primary but for intermediate it's Point England intermediate. During class we do interesting things that has to be a challenge. Some of the task were really simple to complete and some a hard to figure out during my time. During maths time we do Math Whizz. Math Whizz is a good educational mathematics learning programme to keep my goals on and on. Then after lunch we have Topic. Our topic that we do in class is what does Cybersmart means. My goals for this year

Kia ora my name is Tui and I am 11 years old. This year for my goal I'm looking forward to get 100% on my writing.

Maths: My goal is to practice my 13 and 14 time tables.

Reading: The goal is to sound it out, look at the words or think about the word that I don't understand.

Writing: My goal is going to make sense by using interesting vocabulary.

These are my goals that I really need to work on during the year. My favourite goal is my writing because I need to work on my vocabulary.
