Where is Ashlee???

Ashlee and her family are going to the beach!!! They all have one bag to carry to the picnic. Her mother told her to hurry up or they’ll be walking in the rain. Ashlee gazed up to her room and started looking for her shoes. “Found them!” said Ashlee she came running down the stairs and swooshed out of the door.

“Mum I’m tired” Ashlee moaned! Nearly there Ashlee’s mum replied. A sound of waves Ashlee could hear, she got over excited. Her sister Mele had a race to the beach!! Her father joined just in case they get lost. READY, SET, GO!!! Mele, Ashlee and her father zoomed off. They finally arrived at the beach.

As their mother caught up they heard a voice yelling HI ASHLEE!!! they looked back. The family was there. Mele and Ashlee couldn't wait to see all their cousins, but Ashlee was missing?

The family was worried that she might of took off near the bushes. So they all looked different directions. The kids looked around the playgrounds and the adults looked around the bushes. Mele was thinking where she might of wandered off too? Hmm, Mele saw some of Ashlee’s stuff that led to the beach. So Mele followed the path.

Mele looked right then left, she saw a girl that was making sandcastles with her bucket. It was Ashlee! Over here Mele yelled, everyone ran over. Mum and Dad hugged her because they were worried. Dad said don't ever run away again. Ashlee didn't know what was going on but she said “ok.”

They all walked back to the picnic area where they all happily had lunch together. When they got home Ashlee and Mele were puffed and was straight away to sleep.

Touch Rugby

!THUD! you hear the ball drop on the ground. Pass there and pass here the game Touch Rugby can be confusing to play. I got the ball and started sprinting for my life as I felt touch on my back and I thought oh-no. As I knew I got caught I accidentally tripped over on my knees, but it was just a little scrape. I tried again but the same thing will still happen. One more try but no these people are too fast, but i’ll try better next time.

Our next drill was 4on4, to make it harder for the defenders to run away. I was on the attacker’s team so I have to chase the defenders before they get to the try line.

After we finished playing Touch Rugby the coach, Kevin taught us a game called Gotcha. The game goes like this. First you get your right hands pointing finger on top of the other persons left hand. Then your hand has to be straight flat. So you have to wait til the leader says GO! and then you have to try and get the person's finger that’s on your left hand!!

KIA Kite Ano, I hope you enjoyed my writing about Touch Rugby. My thought’s about Touch Rugby is that it is fun to play with your mates. I hope we play next time we see Kevin again!!!

Fia Fia Assembly!!

!wow! last week fiafia assembly really caught my eye, so I decided to write about it. hope you enjoy!!!

My favourite thing at assembly was Uili’s singing, in my head I thought I wished I could sing like that!! I loved how he sang solo because I hope he catches his dream to be a famous singer. Henry, he was good and amazing he was even better! Hosanna I know how he sings because we were friends since we were younger kids. Last week I told him he should join X factor and catch his dreams too and let nothing stop him.

The second act was drumming!!! Levi was the bomb at drumming. During his drumming Mrs. Muliaumaseali’i made up a dance with the beat. As Mr. Barks got the dance he had to dance to a faster beat. It was hilarious!!!

My thoughts on the assembly I’ll rate it 10 out of 10!!! It was amazing and hilarious, kei te pai point england. A big thanks to Miss.M for doing this for point england and we really appreciate it!!! I hope you enjoyed my writing, KIA kite ano!

Back To School

Kia ora this is me! I am year 8 in room 21. My teacher is Mrs. Lagitupu, she is the best!!! I am looking forward to this year, my goal was to reach in reading age 14. So learning here I come!!!

Marshmallows

A sound of screaming wind a slithery monster creped up to me. I was watching my marshmallow cooking on the fire. Suddenly I heard something behind me! Shocked was shown on my face I was petrified of what I saw. A growl came from the monster but he wasn’t there for me he was actually there for the marshmallow. Sharp teeth came from a smile, grup it took the marshmallow off my hand I was still worried I was going to be eaten. I screamed as the birds flew away.
The monster was scared of me of how the way I screamed. So I took more marshmallows out  of my bag and started to give the monster more. The last one is the marshmallow I wanted but the monster snatched it out of my hand.

I was worried that I might get eaten! Anger it showed trying to chase me down. I had an idea in my head that a pillow looks like a marshmallow. So I chucked my pillow away from me and quickly ran away. The monster didn’t really care. He got the pillow, attached it to the stick trying to cook it, but suddenly a distance of flame burned it to pieces. A sad crying face, it was sad.

Netbook reflection

Having a netbook is awesome! It’s awesome because it makes learning much easier. I love it like my own toy.

What I like about my netbook is that we can just type and publish instead of write, copy and publish, it just takes too long. I love how we have our own netbooks because we don’t have to wait and wait for the multimedia to be free. And it helps me with my learning and I rather have netbooks. Like Math Whizz, math whizz is a good example because it is my favourite subject in the world. So instead of writing the equation and answering it you can just answer it online.

What I dislike of the netbook is that it irritates me when there is no wi-fi. It takes to slow when I have to wait to load the wi-fi, then I have to reload my netbook.
